There was an average of 33 murders per day last year with a total for the year of 12,249.
That is 1000 murders per month!
The murder rate of Venezuela is double that of Iraq!

It is an outrage. But to be completely honest with you, sometimes we Americans just want to get under the warm covers and "tune out" what's going on in the rest of the world, as long as we're comfortable. I know I'm guilty of that---and it's a tragedy.

Funny how those "watching the world situation" tend to turn a blind eye to those situations that may open a can of snakes (we are past the worms stage here)!!
WHY NOT SHOW HIM THE HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS ALONE ARE IN TOTAL DISREGARD FOR GLOBAL STANDARDS--MANY WOULD HAVE BEEN INVESTIOGATED AND SANCTIONS IMPOSED WAY BEFORE NOW!! America should enforce their displeasure of sunch injustices and murders, and the cries of those peoples desirous of freedom can be heard around the world!!

Perhaps if we caught wind of Al Qaeda in Venezuela we'd do something about it. He should be booted out of power, but people like him and Castro have a way of making themselves "loved" by the "people" of their countries. {Gag}
